Topic: Best Practices for Protecting Sensitive Data from Insider Threats
Mr. Cates will discuss the shifts that have taken place in the dimensions of insider threats and how best to combat them. These threats now include both traditional insiders - individuals with access to critical data as part of their work – contractors, service providers, privileged users who manage infrastructure, as well as the compromise of all of these group’s credentials by sophisticated external attacks.
The session will drill into the nature and extent of insider threats today, and then look at how best to combat them, including:
