Combining the capabilities of the McAfee Data Center Security Suite for Databases with Vormetric Transparent Encryption results in a complete and comprehensive solution for protecting information within database environments, as well as offering extended protection at the file system and volume level for environments beyond the database. The capabilities within the Data Center Security Suite for Databases for discovery of sensitive data, protection from database user abuse and SQL injection safeguards are enhanced with Vormetric capabilities for file level-level encryption, policy-based access controls, privileged user protection and enhanced file-level access audit logs that accelerate the detection of APTs and insider abuse with McAfee Enterprise Security Manager.
