Jon-Rav Shende | Chief Technology Officer, Data Security
Jon-Rav Shende is a global cybersecurity and technology executive with over 15 years of leadership experience driving digital transformation across AWS and Azure, as well as experiences across product development, market growth, data security, risk management, LLM, and Agentic AI, across Fortune 500 enterprises and high-growth technology companies.
He has led both security and transformation initiatives across the UK, Europe, Asia, and the Americas, both in corporate IT Security leadership roles and services roles, building and optimizing global SOCs, modernizing identity, data security governance, architecture and access management, aligning these with business growth and regulatory requirements.
His career includes global leadership roles at Ernst & Young, Savvis/CenturyLink, Ericsson -Sweden, and Cognizant, where he served as Global BFSI SecEng Head, then Americas Head of Digital Engineering and Security in addition to CISO for a global client.
An early innovator in cloud forensics, Jon authored a Cloud Forensics-as-a-Service framework, which researchers and standards bodies cited, and he continues to advance AI and machine-learning applications in technology and cybersecurity. He is a Chartered IT Professional, Fellow of the British Computer Society, and a Certified Information Security Manager, with academic credentials from the University of Oxford and Royal Holloway, University of London.
Fun fact: Jon Rav owns a 1969 Barracuda fastback, which has been in the family for three generations. He is currently working on restoring it.
