Protect Software: Test Sentinel Envelope Plus for AI-Assisted Hacking

AI reverse engineering with Claude Opus 4.7 and Claude Mythos is changing how software vulnerabilities are discovered—and why software protection has become essential. In this real-world software protection test, we challenged Claude Opus 4.7 to analyze an unprotected software binary and then repeated the test after applying Thales Sentinel Envelope Plus. The results demonstrate how software hardening, binary protection, code protection, and reverse engineering protection dramatically increase the effort required for AI-assisted software analysis.

As AI-powered security tools become more capable of software analysis, vulnerability discovery, and automated exploit research, software vendors need stronger application security and software IP protection strategies to defend valuable intellectual property.
