Thales News Release

Thales Joins The Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance

September 21, 2017

Membership bolsters existing cloud security deployments in the Azure Marketplace

Thales, a leader in critical information systems, cybersecurity and data security, is now a member of the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance (ECA). Designed to foster innovation and promote awareness of partner solutions, the ECA membership will also help support Thales’s ongoing software deployment in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace.

Thales solutions currently available in the Azure Marketplace are the Vormetric Data Security Manager (DSM), which offers centralized, FIPS 140-2 certified key and policy management and enhanced support for Vormetric Transparent Encryption Live Data Transformation – a technology that mitigates the need for downtime when transforming or rekeying encrypted data.

Also newly available in Microsoft Azure is the Vormetric Tokenization Server. Enabling workloads running in Microsoft Azure to tokenize data and offer dynamic data masking using simple REST API calls, the platform brings cloud elasticity to a security component critical to PCI-DSS compliance.

Chris Lwanga, Principal, Cloud Ecosystem Engagement at Microsoft Corp says:

“The Enterprise Cloud Alliance Partner Program welcomes Thales which is developing and delivering best in class enterprise and cloud solutions in strategic engagements with Microsoft to accelerate business and innovation. By developing solutions that leverage innovations in the Microsoft Intelligent Cloud, Thales will benefit from the promotion and access that are benefits of enrollment in the Enterprise Cloud Alliance to maximize their business opportunities.”
