Mr. Schroeder has been Chief Executive of several very successful private technology companies and taken them public, including Diamond Multimedia, Priam Corporation, and Conner Peripherals.

Mr. Schroeder was previously CEO of Diamond Multimedia Systems and president and vicechairman of Conner Peripherals, two well-known technology industry success stories. He has grown tech companies from start-up through IPO and led large, successful public companies. After leaving Vormetric in 2004, Mr. Schroeder transitioned to a strategic advisory role and serves as a board member for private technology companies. In this role, Mr. Schroeder has helped guide several companies to successful exits including WatchGuard Technologies (acquired by Francisco Partners), AlphaSmart (acquired by Renaissance Learning), Omneon (acquired by Harmonic) , Xircom (acquired by Intel), and VXtreme (acquired by Microsoft). Mr. Schroeder holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, as well as an MSEE and BSEE from Marquette University.
