The percentage of global security executives who said their companies have suffered data breaches in the past year held steady compared to the previous year, according to an annual survey out today from Vormetric, a data security company. Despite a steady rate of reported attacks -- 39 percent, same as the prior year — the executives who said they expected to increase security spending rose slightly to 58 percent. The report on the survey, conducted by 451 Research in October and November.
