2021 Thales Access Management Index - APAC Edition - Report

The changes that the last year has wrought upon organizations’ technology teams have been most acutely felt in access management. Seemingly overnight, remote access went from being an exception to the default working model for a large swath of employees. The 2021 Thales Access Management Index, based on data from a survey of more than 2,600 respondents in more than 10 countries across the globe, looks to identify the depth of that change, as well as the current state of and plans for how organizations across a range of industries manage access to enterprise applications, cloud services and networks. This executive summary of the Access Management Index looks specifically at responses from more than 750 security practitioners in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, as well as the insights gleaned from the survey data and the potential impacts for security strategy and planning.
