Thales’s SafeNet Data Protection on Demand and SafeNet Trusted Access solutions have won the gold award in the Encryption and Identity and Access Management categories of the 2019 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.
As cloud services continue to be rapidly adopted by organizations, securing and controlling access to the data held there is paramount. In fact, with Gartner predicting that the majority of cloud security failures will be the fault of customers through to 2023, security teams are being stretched thing to make up the difference.
- Winner of the Encrpytion award: SafeNet Data Protection on Demand is a cloud-based platform that provides a marketplace of cloud-based HSM, encryption and key management services that easily integrates with most widely used cloud services and IT products to protect data wherever it is created, accessed or stored. Because there is no hardware to buy and manage, data encryption is made simpler, more cost effective to deploy and can be set up in minutes without the need for highly skilled staff.
- Winner of the Identity and Access Management: SafeNet Trusted Access is an intuitive access management service that makes it easy to manage cloud and web access with single sign-on and scenario-based access policies. With SafeNet Trusted Access, organizations can reduce the threat of data breaches, simplify compliance and secure their cloud transformation initiatives.
We’re delighted to have won gold in two categories this year for our security solutions. It’s easy to see why the cloud has become such a success, but its proliferation means that security has often been thought of at the last moment. Unfortunately, it’s not a question of if, but when, an organisation will suffer a breach, so they need solutions that are simple and easy to use in order to effectively protect their customers and their own data.
