Microsoft RMS
Titus Microsoft RMS features enable businesses to apply protective functions to their RMS-enabled applications and browsers, such as controlling user permissions and restrictions, to help safeguard digital information from unauthorized use. When people download files in an IRM-enabled list or library, the files are encrypted so that only authorized people can view them. Titus Microsoft RMS also integrates Thales Luna SA HSM for enhanced security within their email solution.
Thales Luna SA HSM helps secure encrypted data by protecting cryptographic keys. Luna SA’s key storage function uses a ‘keys-in-hardware’ approach that protects the entire key lifecycle within the FIPS 140-2 validated, tamper-proof appliance. This method ensures protection of the digital keys, which in turn, ensures the protection of the encrypted data.
