Tabor Comprehensive School and eTokenPASS - Case Study

Tabor is a Roman-Catholic comprehensive school with three locations in the city of Hoorn in the Netherlands. It offers secondary education at various levels. To enable its staff of 450 employees to access the school network from home, Tabor made its network accessible via the Internet. To ensure access was secure, the school implemented a strong multi-factor authentication with Thales's eToken PASS. This user-friendly solution for One-Time-Password (OTP) authentication has been in use since the beginning of the 2008/2009 school year.
