The 2022 Thales Cloud Security Study polled nearly 2,800 IT professionals in 17 countries in five regions (U.S., Canada, Europe and the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Latin America). This Europe and Middle East (EME) report focuses on six key countries across the region – France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, the United Kingdom (U.K.), and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The study examines major cloud and cloud security trends that are reflected in the survey data across the region. In this report, we consider trends seen in EME, how they compare globally and with other regions – as well as with prior research – and how all these factors are manifested in EME.
