IAM Certification courses provide students with all the tools needed to install and support Thales Authentication and Access Management solutions.

The Identity and Access Management Associate Certification Course enables students to gain a better understanding of the authentication and access control solutions offered by Thales.

The Identity and Access Management Professional Certification Courses are product specific. They are designed to cover the most relevant topics related to the implementation and deployment of Thales’s authentication solutions. The knowledge obtained is practiced and deepened through practical hands-on exercise sessions.

Participants will learn how to integrate Thales’s authentication products into existing environments and set up secure Identity and Access Management solutions using the following products:

• SafeNet Trusted Access (STA) – Authentication and Access Control
• SAS-PCE Authentication Service
• Thales’ PKI Solutions

Thales IdCloud Associate Certification Course

This online, self-paced certification course is designed to equip students with expertise in the Thales Digital Banking Identity Cloud product suite (aka IdCloud). Students will review the IdCloud solution's key features, services, architectural components, and real-world use cases. 

Students who successfully complete the certified Associate Certification Course will be able to understand the concepts and challenges of Digital Banking and understand IdCloud digital banking services, workflows, and deployment options.

Thales Identity and Access Management Associate Certification Course

Students who successfully complete the certified Associate Certification Course will be able to understand Thales’s Enterprise Authentication and Access Management product portfolio, available services and deployment features.

This self-paced certification course reviews the Thales Enterprise Authentication and Access Management products, covering cloud and on-prem solutions. Students will briefly review STA and SAS-PCE authentication services as well as Thales’s PKI offering. This includes the solutions architecture, deployment features, automated workflows and authentication methods. Completing this Course provides the base for all Thales authentication professional certification courses.

OneWelcome Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM)

The Thales OneWelcome CIAM Associate Certification Course enables students to leverage Consumer Authentication and Access Management Solutions offered by Thales.

Students who successfully complete the certified Associate Certification Course will be able to understand CIAM concepts, as well as get familiar with the Thales OneWelcome cloud-based Identity Platform, the range of Identity Applications and various customer identity validation methods.

This self-paced certification course reviews the Thales OneWelcome cloud-based CIAM solution, covering the core solution architecture, Identity Applications, deployment features, automated workflows and authentication methods. Completing this Course provides the base for all Thales authentication professional certification courses.

SafeNet Trusted Access (STA) Professional Certification Course

The STA Professional Certification Course provides a deep technical review of STA Services. The course covers the architecture, deployment, administration and maintenance of a cloud based authentication service with an advanced risk engine and policy based access management solution. The sessions are learned through narrated presentations and hands-on lab practice, which is made available over a remote virtual lab and a STA account.

SAS-PCE Professional Certification Course

The SAS SPE/PCE Professional Certification Course is offered to engineers who have completed the STA Cloud Authentication Certification course.

This Professional Certification Course focuses on the SAS-PCE Authentication Solution for on premise deployment. The knowledge covered includes the installation and configuration of the SAS-PCE Authentication Server, solution architecture, RADIUS based authentication, user provisioning options, deployment and maintenance, high availability and fail-over. The sessions are learned through frontal presentations and hands-on lab practice.

PKI Professional Certification Course

This Professional Certification Course focuses on Thales’s PKI authenticators, PKI enrollment and life cycle management based on the vSEC Card Management System (CMS).

This onsite training is delivered through frontal presentations and hands-on lab practice. Students who participate in this Professional Certification Course will practice certificate-based authentication, PKI-based security solutions, authenticator enrolment, and more.

Thales’s Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) provide reliable protection for applications, transactions and information assets by securing cryptographic keys. HSMs are the fastest, most secure and easiest application security solution to integrate for enterprise and government organisations to achieve regulatory compliance, reduce the risk of legal liability and improve profitability.

The HSM Associate Certification Course enables students to gain a better understanding of the HSM products offered by Thales.

The HSM Professional Certification Courses provide the student with an in depth knowledge of the HSM products that Thales offers. Each HSM course provides a technical, deep dive into the solution architecture, deployment, administration and maintenance of the HSM. Students will learn about cloud and physical HSM models and perform hands-on exercises to install, configure, and troubleshoot the product in a live classroom environment or hosted in the cloud:

• Luna HSM
• DPoD (Cloud HSM)
• payShield
• ProtectServer

HSM Associate Certification Course

The HSM Associate Certification Course provides students with an introduction and overview of the world of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs). The training covers core concepts concerning all types of HSMs provided by Thales including Luna HSM, DPoD Cloud HSM, ProtectServer, and payShield. Completing this course provides the base for all Thales HSM professional level certification courses.

Luna HSM Professional Certification Course

The Luna HSM Professional Certification Course focuses on the Luna HSM 7 product line with a technical deep dive into the solution architecture, deployment, administration and maintenance of the HSMs. Students will learn about both PED and Password authenticated Luna HSM models and perform hands-on exercises to install, configure, and troubleshoot the products in a live classroom environment.

DPoD (Data Protection on Demand) Professional Certification Course

The Data Protection on Demand (DPoD) Professional Certification Course provides a full overview of the Cloud HSM platform, whether you are a service provider or a security administrator for your organisation. In this training, you will learn about the DPoD marketplace, the different use cases, success stories and integrations supported by the platform.

payShield HSM Professional Certification Course

The payShield Professional Certification Course is onsite and instructor led. The course focuses on the payShield 10K Hardware Security Module, administration, configuration, and how a payment HSM is implemented in a banking environment.

ProtectServer HSM Professional Certification Course

The ProtectServer HSM Professional Certification Course covers basic configuration and administration of ProtectServer HSM and its toolkits.

The students will learn about the eco-system in which ProtectServer operates in, how to operate the different toolkits for various environments (C, Microsoft, etc.) as well as experience the simulation platform of ProtectServer.

Thales’s Data Encryption and Control solutions focus on data security – covering the broadest variety of data types. The solutions offer a unified platform with data encryption and granular access control capabilities that can be applied to databases, applications, mainframe environments, and individual files. The CipherTrust Associate Certification Course enables students to gain a better understanding of the Data Encryption products offered by Thales.

The Data Encryption Professional Certification Courses provide a technical, deep dive into the encryption solutions architecture, deployment, administration and maintenance. Students will learn about physical and virtual solutions while performing hands-on exercises to install, configure, and troubleshoot the product in a live classroom environment or hosted in the cloud:

• CipherTrust Manager
• High Speed Encryption (HSE)

CipherTrust Associate Certification Course

The CipherTrust Associate Certification Course provides a technical overview of the CipherTrust Manager platform, supported connectors, applications and features through narrated presentations and demo videos. At the end of the training, the trainee will have a better understanding of the CipherTrust Manager product offering and its supported components.

CipherTrust Manager Professional Certification Course

The CipherTrust Manager Professional Certification Course focuses on the CipherTrust Data Security platform and its integrated solutions, including CipherTrust Cloud Key Manager (CCKM) and Data Discovery and Classification (DDC). The course covers a technical overview of CipherTrust Manager, integrated applications and use cases. The hands-on sessions include: CipherTrust Manager basic configuration, Database Protection (CDP), Application Data Protection (CADP), CTE file encryption for Windows and Linux, as well as KMIP integrations.

High Speed Encryption (HSE) Professional Certification Course

Thales’s High-Speed WAN encryptors provide the fastest, simplest, and easiest way to integrate network security solutions for enterprise and government organisations that need to protect mission-critical data. With organisations expanding and becoming more geographically dispersed, the global collaboration between partners, suppliers and customers is forcing a requirement for secure and transparent high-speed communications across the network.

In this course, students will participate in classroom sessions covering the available network encryption products, the solution’s architecture, installation, configuration and management options. Classroom sessions are followed by hands-on lab practice in which students install and configure network encryption products.
